Have been steadily working away to finish the music for Heidi Weiss's new beautiful dance piece interbeing. Up to now I had repurposed and remixed 2 older pieces and written 3 new ones, the first of which was shared some weeks ago. All the music thus far has been very ethereal and ambient leaning and felt a deliberately rhythmic part was important but was struggling to find something that made sense over the lalst weeks. Thankfully early yesterday morning I stumbled upon this strange 90 bpm Bhangra / Cumbia hyper-position which fit the bill perfectly. Rest assured this riddim will 100% be repurposed for wax at a later date!
